Abstract
- The article reports on the results of a 2016 survey of electronic book (ebook) usage in academic libraries in the U.S. sponsored by Gale Cengage Learning. According to 47% of respondents, their students preferred print versions of scholarly monographs, while 42% said students preferred print textbooks. The survey results are said to reflect trends in ebook purchasing at academic libraries.
