Abstract

This paper uses raster scan line as the basic describing unit of point, line and polygon. The definition of seven basic topological relations of raster scan line, formalized definition of topological relations for geometric objects like point, line and polygon are given in the paper. And the line-by-line calculation flow based on topological relations of raster scan line is designed. The test indicates that this method is suitable for collection objects of point, line and polygon and has higher computational efficiency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
