Abstract

The article explores the trends in the surgical techniques and materials used by surgeons in conducting total hip replacement among patients. Topics include the concept of short-term to intermediate-term survivorship different among patients with common total hip arthroplasty, the popularity on the use for polyethylene infused with vitamin E and intraoperative care among patients. It also notes on the important aspects of improving patient's quality of life.
