Abstract

A case study is presented of a 56-year-old man with severe-type haemophilia A, who had haemophilic arthropathies of both knees and received on-demand therapy with recombinant FVIII (rFVIII). Topics include successful multivessel percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) perfomed for acute coronary syndrome in the human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV)-positive severe haemophiliac and multiple bleeding risks existed in the patient during and after PCI in addition to underlying haemophilia.
