Abstract: The article presents views of construction workers on the safety and their career choices and job conditions. Topics include views of pipefitter Wayne Williams on learning plumbing to work for bigger contractors like MMC Contractors; comments of equipment operator Michael Sager on started working for earthmoving contractors and establishing his business Sager Grading and Pipe Line LLC; and views of ironworker Vince Gurneau on working with pride and speed in ironworking to complete projects.
