Concepts of spirituality and community psychology.

The article presents comments of the author on the September 1, 2001 issue of the "Journal of Community Psychology." The papers in the issue discusses concepts of spirituality and community psychology. The papers were both stimulating and instructive. Stimulating because the authors in their different ways were confronting problems in living that no one anywhere can avoid trying to understand and answer; instructive because these papers as a first approximation of conceptualizing the issues in ways that have practical import.
