Abstract
- The article discusses the role of active ageing (AA) in supporting quality of life (QoL) of residents in nursing homes. It mentions that AA provides a multinational set of determinants that enhance QoL. It examines the status of AA in nursing homes in Flanders, Belgium and mentioned that residents appeared to have a positive QoL and moderately positive appraisal of the extent yo which nursing homes provide a multidimensional environment to enhance their QoL.
