Abstract
- The article examines the predicament of American nonprofit educational organization Seattle Teacher Residency (STRO) which is struggling to survive as of September 2016 despite being popular for top-notch graduates. A background of STR is provided which trains teachers to be effective for classrooms in public schools in Seattle, Washington. Also discussed are aspects of teacher preparation programs and the history of Seattle's residency program.
