SOME DIVERSE APPROACHES TO POLICY ANALYSIS: A PARTIAL REPLY TO THOMAS DYE.

The article presents comments of professor Thomas R. Dye, in the second issue of the "Policy Studies Journal," raise a number of important problems. In general, the author finds himself in agreement with the problems and propositions as formulated by Professor Dye. But better clarification of the author's position may serve to pose in sharper form some issues faced by policy studies, by political science and by political scientists when orienting themselves to policy problems.
