Introduction: Work in Argentina in the 21st Century.

The article focuses on shift in support of the study of work from a concern with the productive value of labor to a reorientation toward nonmaterial, noneconomic aspects in Argentina. Anthropology of work provides an important counterbalance to the reduction by investigating the meaning of work in the daily lives and struggles of social actors.
