Abstract: The article focuses on the research and development (R&D) programs of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the military veterans across the country. It highlights several services for the veterans including medical care, social support and memorials. It also notes that the VA provides funding to the veterans for in appropriations legislation.
