Abstract: The article discusses the supports of the U.S. Congress to the research and development (R&D) in the Department of Defense (DOD) through appropriation. It states that the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) funds support the research on breast, prostate, and ovarian cancer as well as other medical conditions. It also cites the separate funding for the lethal chemical agents and munitions.
