Exploring the Pixel Density Limitations of SBS AMOLED for VR Application.

Fine metal masks (FMM) have always been a critical manufacturing tool for the fabrication of R/G/B side-by-side (SBS) AMOLED panels. In this work, we successfully fabricated a series of OLED devices and active matrix panels in a hybrid structure to confirm the manufacturing feasibility without using FMM tools. From our experimental data, all of the device performances have compatible life-time trends and the same JVB characteristics after photolithography process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
