Cashing In on the DIGITAL REVOLUTION.

The article presents the authors' views on the importance of digitization for increasing access to financial services in sub-Saharan Africa as of June 2016. Financial inclusion will reportedly make it easier to save money and to diversify assets which would increase economic activity. Also examined are the barriers to financial services for poor people, the impact of the global financial crisis on the industry, the advantages of low cost digital financial services.
