Abstract

The article discuses a research study conducted to develop a semester long high school introduction to engineering design course for a prototypical classroom. It is noted that curriculum was based on a First Year Projects Course and consist of lectures, workshops, and design projects. It is noted that students engage in two major design projects to provide application and milestones to ensure progress by the team.
