- The article examines states in the U.S. suing the federal government. Particular focus is given to instances of states vs. the United States, including those involving Massachusetts, Texas and Oregon. Additional topics discussed include the Federalism scholar Ernest Young, constitutional principle and the Supreme Court's original jurisdiction.
