Abstract

The article reports on a campaign to be conducted by China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) to enhance supervision of online marketplaces from May to November 2016. Topics covered include the monitoring of purchases of key products, verification of the operation of online stores under their real names, and strengthening the quality of goods purchased online. Also mentioned are measures to be taken against online trademark infringement and illegal online advertisements.
