Abstract

The article presents a bibliography on the History and Organization of Sociological Studies. Sub-topics covered are Historical Development of Sociology in which some books included are History and a Science of Man: An Appreciation of George Cornewall Lewis and A Hundred Years of Psychology; Current Trends and Activities in the Sociological Field; A Short Economic and Social History of England; books on noted Sociologists like L.L. Bernard, Henry Charles and Eilert Sundt. Teaching of sociology is another topic on which the book Teaching Sociologist's Frame or Experience was written. The section of Textbooks and Manuals, Reference Books, and Bibliographies, Collections includes A Bibliographical Guide to the English Educational System. Organization of Research Activities: Institutes, Agencies, Councils included the book Area Studies in American Universities. Sociological meetings, conferences, congresses, associations included Report of Meeting of International Committee on Planned Parenthood.
