Abstract

Flow-cytometry on cellular suspensions shows the presence of lymphocytary infiltrate and a considerable concentration of helper T cells and cytotoxic T cells .The levels of T cells were increased in the tumor areas where a high grade of morphological changes has been observed.T cells infiltrate in tumors are mostly seen as evidence of a protective immune response and have been associated with better prognosis .T cells are capable of secreting a repertoire of molecules that are able to regulate intercellular signaling. The object of the present study is to analyze the composition of the lymphocytary infiltrate associated with breast cancer and its implications in further evolution of the tumor and the therapeutic possibilities.
