Abstract
- The article presents a study which examined the use of the bathophenanthroline-based palladium (Pd) complex in colorimetric detection of kiwi fruit ripening process based on result of transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The variables used include the electron diffraction image Pd nanoparticles, ethylene gas exposure and the level of ethylene gas released the fruit. A discussion on the advantages of colorimetric and fluorescent chemosensors are mentioned.
