Abstract
- The article focuses on a study related to assessment of sensory stimuli sensitivity though development of Sensory Hypersensitivity Scale (SHS). Topics discussed include higher sensitivity of women to SHS as compared to men observation of same total SHS score in healthy and patients suffering from chronic back pain, correlation between SHS and Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) scores and relevance of central sensitization and back pain relationship in women.
