Abstract

The article presents a study which explores the include of a 10 base pair gene deletion in the expansion of C9orf72 gene through standard polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay. The study examines the possible clinical and pathological relevance of the deletion on patients with dementia, molecular genetics of dementia and expansion of C9orf72 gene in standard procedures. The study also discusses the clinical features in recognition for patients with psychosis.
