Targeting immunosuppression by Tregs with monoclonal antibodies against GARP.

Reducing Treg function in cancer patients should augment antitumor immune responses. We recently uncovered a mechanism of immunosuppression by human Tregs that implies transmembrane protein GARP and production of active TGF-ß1.
