Abstract
- In the article, the author compares the contrasting state of the Franklin Square and the Farragut Square, which are located near each other in Washington, D.C., as of February 2016. He claims that the poor state of Franklin Square and the vibrant condition of Farragut Square were due partly to programming, maintenance, and design and development strategies. He also cites the need to resurrect the dead parks in the state.
