Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 30-year-old pregnant woman who was referred to Obstetrics Unit of San Raffaele Hospital due to foetal growth restriction (FGR) and pre-eclampsia at 33 weeks of gestation period. Topics discussed include no placental histological abnormalities, magnetic resonance angiography showing uterine arteriovenous malformations (UAVM), and development of UAVMs from uterine trauma and caesarean infection.
