Abstract
- The article discusses how to improve investigations of rape cases in the U.S. It references the report "An Unbelievable Story of Rape" released by ProPublica and The Marshall Project. Police officers are advised to check police agencies where the suspect previously lived or traveled and to read the evidence-based findings. The use of the Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is also recommended.
