Incidence of Congenital Club Foot in and around Tumkur.

Congenital club foot is found in approximately 1 per 1000 live births & has even higher prevalence in still births. Males are twice as likely to be affected as females. Incidence of bilaterality is as high as 4050 %. 37 children with clubfoot were examined, diagnosed & treated by Ponseti method at Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur.
