- Reports that a number of child farm laborers in the U.S. are facing health problems while working in fields due to extensive application of pesticides and fumigants to crops and soil. Range of symptoms reported by these child farm laborers; Reasons why child farm labor has not been completely eradicated in the country; Factor that makes people more susceptible to effects of toxic substances.
