This article informs about the symposium Biological Basis for Pharmacological and Biofeedback Treatment of Migraine that will be held on November 30 and December 1, 1979 at Marriott Hotel-West Loop, Houston, Texas. Sponsored by The Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences, symposium is designed to meet the needs of physicians, psychologists, counselors, educators, nurses, students and other professionals engaged in the medical and behavioral sciences who are involved in the treatment of migraine headache. Purpose is to summarize and integrate the current status of pharmacological and biofeedback methods of migraine headache management. Topics will include explorations of the subtle diagnostic features of migraine, pharmacological methods and underlying mechanisms, methods and techniques of biofeedback management.
