ЭТИЧЕСКАЯ ОЦЕНКА В НОМИНАЦИЯХ ЧЕЛОВЕКА.

The article is devoted to the description of the ways of ethical assessment in the nominations of Russian and English people based on the lexicographical sources and literary works by N. V. Gogol and Ch. Dickens. The ideographical, semantic, metaphorical and word-formation criteria of ethical evaluation in the nominations of Russian and English people are singled out and thoroughly analysed. The nominations taken from literary works support the main idea about the same tendencies while describing national-cultural peculiarities of an inner world of a person in dictionaries.
