Abstract
- The article discusses copyright protections and exemptions undertaken by several countries. It cites Argentina's proposed draft bill extending the terms of copyright protection on photographs fro 20 years to life of the photographer plus 70 years which is being opposed by Argentine pressure group Fundacion Via Lbre. It cites efforts of library bodies to persuade World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to support international copyright exceptions for libraries and archives.
