Abstract

6-Aryl-3,4-dimethyl- N-phenyl-2-oxo-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxamides were synthesized by three-component reactions of acetoacetanilide, aromatic aldehydes, and N-methylurea. The structures of the compounds were confirmed by IR and PMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The antifungal activity of the synthesized compounds was studied. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
