Abstract

The results of experimental investigation on deformation and strength of unidirectional carbonfiber-reinforced plastics made on the basis of carbon fibers T700 and epoxy matrix at room and elevated (up to 260°C) temperatures are presented. The dependences of the elasticity characteristics and strength of the composite on the test temperature are investigated. The metallic characteristics and strength of carbon fibers and matrix at room and elevated temperatures are determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
