Abstract

A case study is presented on British anti-slavery, or abolitionist, in Holland during the mid 19th century, including the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society's (BFASS's) role in this regard. An overview of British abolitionists' relations with continental European abolitionist movements is provided.
