Return of the beaver - lessons from the River Otter.

In ECOS 35 (2) 2014, Derek Gow outlined the proposals by Defra officials to trap and remove the wild-living beavers on the River Otter in East Devon. Since then a great deal has happened, culminating in the licenced release of beavers back into the English countryside in March 2015.
