Abstract

The article discusses the analysis of the collisions of symmetric systems which failed to fuse due to the Coulomb repulsion. Topics discussed include the use of geometry to detect and identify the reaction of products in the arranged Charged Heavy Ion Mass and Energy Resolving Array (CHIMERA), the addition of fragments in the ternary reactions, and the prompt emission features of the intermediate-mass fragment.
