Abstract
- The article discusses the need for librarians to assure that their audiobook collections reflect the diversity of the global community and their constituents. According to Books on Tape/Listening Library marketing director Cheryl Herman, the connection makes stories come alive and enhances the reading experience. Amy Metsch of publisher Penguin Random House Audio mentions that her company looks to acquire titles representing various life experiences for the broad constituency of listeners.
