Author Response.

The authors refutes the critical response to their paper on science capital. Topics include an expression of their disappointment on some basic misunderstanding of their arguments such as "straw doll" accusation and an alleged "reification of science," why they do not propose science capital as a "separate concept" that is distinct from cultural capital, and a challenge to the responder's position that the authors should not focus on science but only on the unjust sociocultural system.
