Abstract

The article discuses the study on the association of coronary artery plaque and asymptomatic type 2 diabetes which can significantly cause stenosis in a coronary artery disease (CAD) patients. The method for the measuring the risk factors for CAD through computer tomography (CT) coronary angiogram (CTCA) was developed. The results were outlined and concludes the detection of plaques on more than half of the patients which suggest a revision of CAD screening to reduce morbidity and mortality.
