Abstract
- The article presents the randomized controlled trial that explores on the effectiveness of pharmacist intervention in improving the understanding on hypertension, enhancing medication adherence, and improving the quality of life of patients with hypertension. The topics discussed include the effectiveness of pharmacist intervention in lowering the diastolic and systolic blood pressure levels of hypertensive patients and the disability and mortality caused by non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
