Abstract
- The article discusses various factors responsible for the management of glycemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) including approximated testing of hemoglobin A1C in people with CKD and antidiabetic medication adjustment. The various antidiabetic medicines used for controlling CKD includes metformin, thiazolidinediones and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1).
