Abstract
- The article discusses the concerns of some parents who opted out to vaccinate their children in the U.S. Topics covered include the highlights of the 2013 report released by the Institute of Medicine to show how U.S. childhood-immunization schedule is effective with very few risks, the proven effect of vaccines on the child's immune system and parents' concern with regards to the chemical composition of vaccines. It discusses the effectivity of the flu vaccine.
