Abstract
- The article presents a study which investigates the effects of general anesthesia on patients who underwent open lung resection. Topics discussed include the use of the database of the health insurance company Premier Perspective Inc. to acquire the relevant data for the study, the use of the SAS version 9.3 statistical software in the analysis, and the study finding illustrating the association between adding neuraxial to general anesthesia in open lung resections in cancer patients.
