Examining progress in cancer rehabilitation: are we closer to parity of esteem?

The author reflects on the themed issue of the journal devoted to cancer survivorship. Topics discussed include the journal's support for papers describing approaches in cancer rehabilitation which plays an important role in the care of people living with and beyond cancer, the status of cancer rehabilitation in the U.S. and efforts of the National Health Services (NHS) England and Macmillan Cancer support (MCS) to improve rehabilitation services for patients and deliver better health outcomes.
