The article discusses the resignation tabled by Presidency University's head of Physics, Somak Raychaudhury. He said that he was leaving the institute to take up charge as director at the Inter University Centre of Astronomy and Astrophysics(IUCAA), Pune. He said that there is no any difference of opinion with the authorities in Presidency University. Earlier, physicist Sabyasachi Bhattacharya resigned stating lack of plurality.
