Die Handschriften der Sophistenviten Philostrats.

The article presents the author's views on the brief examination of manuscripts of Greek sophist Sophistenviten Philostrats by using modern techniques of codicology and paleography. Various topics discussed include work of Greek copyists during the Renaissance period of England, errors found in the text of manuscripts and end of the sophists family.
