Abstract
- The article presents a case study of acute pancreatitis-like bile leakage surrounding the portal vein system following endoscopic ultrasound-guided choldecodoudenostomy (EUS-CDS) in a 72-year-old man. The patient has locally advanced cancer of pancreatic head and obstructive jaundice. EUS-CDS with partially covered self-expandable metallic stent (SEMS). It suggests the need to consider the possibility of bile leakage after EUS-CDS, regardless of the use of covered SEMS.
