Abstract

The article presents the case studies of a 32-year-old male and a 36-year-old female diagnosed with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)-induced gastropathy and enteropathy of the ileum. The authors state that these cases emphasize the importance of performing a thorough intraoperative examination of the small intestine in chronic users of NSAIDs. They also recommend the use of capsule endoscopy and double balloon enteroscopy to diagnose the said conditions.
