Abstract
- Making information accessible involves deciding which format to use and prioritising the information that is provided. Prioritisation is often not taken into account and materials are produced in which the same information is given to everyone. This article explores the factors that must be taken into account and what information to include by referring to a new approach called the information challenge model. Use of personal screening and different provision structures are also introduced. These techniques are distinct from easy read or other formats, and should result in a planned approach including systematic review of outcomes or success attained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
