Examines the relationship between tick bites and the seroprevalence of Babesia microti and Anaplasma phagocytophila. Transmission of B. burgdorferi to humans by black-legged ticks of the genus Ixodes; Presentation of survey regarding tick bites; Detection of B. microti using a synthetic peptide prototype ELISA.
